Build a Flagship Project! XCMG Participated in the Construction of the Largest Economic and Trade Project in China and Malaysia

Along Malaysia's winding coastline, XCMG crawler cranes, excavators, rotary drilling rigs and other equipment are dotted with equipment, and the flagship project of the "Belt and Road" - the Malaysian East Coast Railway is being built.

It is understood that as the largest direct economic and trade project between China and Malaysia, the completion of the Malaysia-East Railway will bring an additional 1.5% economic growth to the three continents on the east coast and become a landmark project of friendly cooperation between China and Malaysia.

This is the first time that Chinese railway standards have entered Malaysia. CCCC and XCMG went overseas together, and the cooperation between Chinese technology and Chinese equipment was highly praised.

Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail recently said that the East Coast Rail Project undertaken by Chinese companies will help Malaysia build a more efficient public transport system and promote local economic development.


The total length of the Madong Railway is more than 600 kilometers, including more than 300 construction points such as tunnels, bridges, roadbeds, culverts, etc., and it is currently the peak period for the construction of XCMG's complete set of equipment.

The local ultraviolet radiation, high salt and high humidity, long-term exposure of equipment to such an environment, obvious corrosion of railway through forests, mountains, rivers and other terrain, severe environmental challenges and huge span of time and space, all challenge the adaptability and durability of XCMG equipment.



At the beginning of construction, the Pahang River Bridge was a control project of the Madong Railway Project, and at the beginning of construction, it suddenly encountered the 50-year flood of the Pahang River, and XCMG's 25-ton and 55-ton truck cranes and the temporary steel trestle bridge built by it withstood the test, and there was no overturning accident.


At the construction site near the Lekar River, the land ravaged by the flood became muddy, like a "swamp", a mud puddle and a new construction difficulty. The XCMG XGC75 crawler crane's strengths of large chassis and small specific pressure to ground come in handy at this time.

After fixing the stable fuselage, the XCMG crawler crane enters the room in a straight line, lifts at a constant speed, walks with loads, and places components in one go. 24-hour uninterrupted operation, full power for the project to seize the construction period.


It is expected that by 2023, 23,000 workers will jointly promote the East Railway project project, and as a globally trusted engineering equipment solution service provider, more XCMG equipment will also go to the front line to draw a magnificent picture of the high-quality construction of the "Belt and Road".
