At the construction site of the G3 Tongling Yangtze River Railway Bridge in Anhui Province, six XCMG rotary drilling rigs are fighting the main pier of bridge 3. G3 Tongling Yangtze River Railway Bridge uses a kilometer-class long-span steel truss girder bridge, which is the first time in the world, and its span ranks first in the world of similar bridge types arranged in layered public railways.

It is reported that the bridge is a key project for the construction of infrastructure projects in Anhui Province, and is also an important hub point connecting the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, the Hefei Economic Circle and the construction of the international tourism channel in southern Anhui.

G3 Tongling Yangtze River Railway Bridge main span length of about 988 meters, Pier 3 and Pier 4 as the main structure of the bridge, the accuracy of the pile pier hole is directly related to the bearing and stability of the bridge, after many discussions and consultations, it was finally decided to use rotary drilling grading drilling into the hole process construction.


The efficient performance of XCMG large-tonnage rotary drilling rig in another super project- Ma'anshan Yangtze River Railway Bridge made the G3 Tongling Yangtze River Railway Bridge project team shine brightly, and took the initiative to issue an invitation to enter 6 models of 580 tons or more, mainly responsible for the pile foundation operation of The No. 3 main pier.


Since the start of construction in January, the builders have taken the posture of "starting the construction is a decisive battle, and starting is a big dry" to ensure the smooth progress of the two main piers according to the construction node. Continuously optimize the construction process, improve the hole forming technology, and gradually improve the efficiency, from the initial 3 days into a hole, to reach a new record of 1 pile per day, laying a solid foundation for the rapid construction of the substructure of the bridge.
